What is Futures Demo Trading?

Futures Demo Trading is a risk-free simulation that allows users to practice futures trading without using real funds. It provides a realistic trading environment where users can execute trades, test strategies, and familiarize themselves with the futures market mechanics using virtual assets.

This feature is ideal for beginners looking to learn how futures trading works and for experienced traders who want to refine their strategies before applying them to live markets. By using Futures Demo Trading, users can explore different order types, test leverage settings, and understand risk management principles without the fear of losing real money.

How to start the Futures Demo Trading?

In APP：

Step 1: Download/update and log in to the latest version of the Pionex app to access Futures Demo.

Step 2: Click on [Markets] in the bottom menu bar, then select [Futures] - [Demo], where you will find the currency pairs that are supported for demo trading. After choosing your preferred currency pair, click [Start Demo Trading].

Step 3: Once you are in the "Futures" section, if you don't have sufficient demo PUSD funds, click [+] - [Demo Trading] to claim the demo PUSD funds.

Step 4: After that, select the margin mode you desire, adjust the leverage if needed, choose the desired order type, and input your investment amount. Then, select the direction (either long or short) to open the desired futures position. Finally, click [Confirm] to place the order. Once the order is executed, it will appear at the bottom of the relevant order tab category based on the margin mode you selected.

On Web：

Step 1: Open the Pionex website, log in to your account, click on [Futures] in the top menu bar, then click on [Demo trading]  to access Futures Demo.
Step 2: Click on [▲] - [Futures] - [Demo], where you will find the supported currency pairs for demo trading and can choose your preferred pair.
Step 3: Once you are in the "Futures Trading " section, if you don't have sufficient demo PUSD funds, click [+] - [Demo Trading] to claim the demo PUSD funds.
Step 4: After that, select the margin mode you desire, adjust the leverage if needed, choose the desired order type, and input your investment amount. Then, select the direction (either long or short) to open the desired futures position. Finally, click [OK] to place the order. Once the order is executed, it will appear at the bottom of the relevant order tab category based on the margin mode you selected.

Futures Demo FAQ

Q： Do I need to complete KYC to use demo trading?
A： Yes, to access Pionex services, including demo trading, you must complete at least KYC Level 1.

Q： Can I use PUSD with trading bots?
A： Currently, demo trading is only supported with manual futures trading. PUSD cannot be used with any other trading functions, including trading bots.

Q： Is there a limit on how much PUSD I can claim?
A： You can claim up to a maximum of 500,000 PUSD at once. If your demo account balance drops below 100,000 PUSD, you can claim again to top it up.
