Pionex has added a Family Card option to its existing Visa Platinum card product, allowing primary cardholders to extend spending access to family members from a single shared balance.
Overview
The Family Card is a supplementary card feature available to Pionex Visa Platinum users. Rather than requiring a family member to register their own Pionex Card account, the feature allows a primary cardholder to issue an additional card that draws from their existing USDT balance. The cardholder retains full visibility and control over the account throughout.
The feature can be found within the app under Wallet → Exclusive Benefits, where it appears as a tile labelled "Family Card".
Key features
- Shared balance: The supplementary card draws from the primary cardholder's existing USDT balance. No separate funding is required.
- KYC-free for family members. Family members only need to register their own Pionex account. They are not required to complete a separate KYC process — access is granted through the primary cardholder's verified Pionex Visa card.
- Independent 3DS verification: Family members verify their own transactions via their own phone number or app, without involving the primary cardholder.
- Spending limits: The primary cardholder can configure dedicated spending limits for each family member and view a full transaction history.
Activating the Family Card
Activation is completed within the app through a three-step process: entering card information, reviewing and confirming, and receiving confirmation once the card is issued.
The Family Card feature is available to all active Pionex Visa Platinum cardholders through the latest version of the Pionex app.
